When Chrissy asked me to shoot her winter/ Christmas time wedding I was like EEKKKK!!!! Being the selfish person I am about location, I started praying for snow. My prayers were answered when the day before the big day we go hit with the biggest snow storm. How Lucky did we get? I mean when you look at these images don't you just see the prettiest of backdrops? Winterwonderland, dreamy trees and a blanket of powder that skiers only dream about...
Enough about me and what I pray for when it come to shooting.
Let's talk about Chrissy and Justin. Wasn't she just the prettiest snow bride? She was just perfection.
Justin was the sweetest of grooms. I really take note of how a groom looks at his bride on her wedding day. That day she has been waiting for all of her life. How she visioned herself in her dress, the look on her groom as he looks at her for the first time. Justin did not disappoint me. He not only looked at Chrissy in admiration but love. He told her over and over again how pretty she looked and gave her the attention as if no one else in the world was around.
Thank you to Justin and Chrissy for enduring the bitter cold. They lived in the moment even if it was below 30 degrees. And a big thank you for asking me to capture your forever after.
